Pain in the arse, but I'll get there.
Have you looked at my picture in post 8?
Tuner Simple/Mode Positioner and then your Long and Lat?
If they are wrong it wont help

Weird that Maca cos thats what happened with my mates box,yet when i put mine on the green light on the motor came on and the dish moved yet ive got his old box and it works fine on my motorised set up but not on his.
I do think the tone ampitude works though.
Still be tempted to get a short piece of coax from dish to box and see if that changes anything.

        Andy.

had the same prob on and off . I get it moving again by going on position setup and keep pressing left right stepping button until it moves then once its moved slightly it will move as usual but sometimes it takes about 20 mins to get it to start to move.

The light should stick out like a sore thumb in the dark if the motor is getting power.
Try moving the dish with different channels that might get it moving. One with a strong tp.

Tried with the DM500. Still not moving. The satfind on the DM500 showed 63% and 63% which I think is when there is no satellite being picked up, but does that mean there is power to the satellite?

Ideally try another sat box. Also connections at box
If not try to move it on postioner setup, using manually config with a Horizontal programme on that sat. You can see if it is moving by the signal strength. Apart from that it is ladder time.
If the signal is less than before the trouble it indicates bad connections.
