DM 800 error

Hi, i flashed my box with a newinigma image wich ive been useing for a while now, the problem i have is it flashed ok, then when i went to reinstall my settings it crashed, and now every time i power up i just get dreambox error in the display, its not the ca error as i have had that before, ive tried connecting useing dreamup, the box connects but just hangs with dreambox 800hd on the dreamup page. ive tried checking the sim incase it was loose as ive read that could be the problem. the sim seems ok. anybody got any ideas.

And you cant even get the **STOP** thing on your display? As in when you turn it on holding the power button at the front?

no, just the error, and the red power light flashing.

what is the exact message you get and do you get anything on the tv screen like the boot logo?

is there any other lights flashing or just the red light?

sooon as i power up, it says dream multimedia, then dream multimedia error! nothing else, and red power light flashing fast.

looks like you may have problem with your simcard.

no worries mate. yu can try the pushing the sim in and holding down method or buy a new sim.

were do you get them from, cant seem to find them on sale on various sites.

Hi, finally got a sim card to try, still no joy, anybody got any more ideas, could the box just b shot??.

Longshot but try another psu if you got one. I had a similar error with a dm500, the image would just hang and sit there and it was psu i that case.

the other thing would be to try dreamup again...with another cable oand pc. sometimes there is problems with the com ports. i have had this happen before.
