contarts to MAX and Naiblo for this excelent code work. I understand that his code is also in the Enigma1 build but focused on SkyIT, has anyone got it to work on the SkyUK feed by changing to the OpenEPG channel suggested in the how-to guide for the Enigma1 users?

shappaeye firstly welcome to Digital-kaos, The Sly Italy Epg weekly download has been around a while, but as for the Sky UK version nothing has been available previous to this newly released software from the Nabilo Image team, hopfully in the future it will reach the other Dreambox models once the size of the addon can be fitted onto the limited Var file (unlikely in my opinion) but who knows.

EPG = Electronic prorgram Guide is an digital guide to scheduled broadcast television or radio programs, typically displayed on-screen with functions allowing a viewer to navigate, select, and discover content by time, title, channel, genre, etc. by use of their remote control, a keyboard, or other input devices such as a phone keypad.

has anyone got this working correctly?

with mine it is downloading the epg but not displaying it until i press the info button and then single epg.
But about 10% does actually work ok

I dont know if this correct or not or i need to adjust some sort of file in the var folder .

Its a great improvement for us DM7025 owners but ive gone back to LT5.4 and for the moment - my xml grab from Radio times is working great

Hi mate the coded embedded in E1 will only work for sky IT if you wanna use sky UK epg on E1 use this

How To Download SKY UK EPG with Nabilosat Black Hole images

Nabilosat Black Hole images for DM7025, DM800 and DM8000 include an exclusive feature: download the weekly SKY UK EPG via satellite, and have it integrated to Enigma2. This guide will briefly show how to complete the procedure.

The EPG is downloaded from the satellite signal available from the radio channel Hip Hop, frequency 11778, symbol rate 27500. There are 2 options to zap to this channel.

1) Edit your settings

Open your settings with your favorite editor, and add the radio channel to any TV bouquet. This procedure will give you the option to quickly zap to Hip Hop

2) Enable Alternative Radio mode

Press MENU, and browse to SETUP>SYSTEM>CUSTOMIZE and set Alternative Radio mode to YES. This procedure will give you the option to zap through radio channels in radio mode, and have the full MENU active like in TV mode

Then, press the Blue button to access to Nabilosat Blue Panel

And press it again to open the Nabilosat E2 settings. Move the cursor to Nabilo E2 EPG, and press OK

The Nabilo E2 EPG Settings panel will open

Press the red button to modify settings. Here you can enable/disable the loader, select the path where to save the EPG, and select the Hip Hop radio channel. Press the red button again to save your settings. Enigma2 will be restarted.
