    New Router - Now dm800 not working

    I've got a new router from orange set it all up and everything works fine apart from my dm800 clone.

    I'm using vonets and thats setup with the new router and working.

    I did a test on the dm800 and everything passes the test apart from nameserver.

    I think my ip address may of changed with the new router is this possible ?

    What do I need to put in for nameserver to get things working ?

    hat exactly is your box not doing?

    can you get iunto the downloads panel and download stuff??

    i don't know if its nameserver or not mate. my nameserver is the address of my router. you can try putting your router address in there and see.....

      Its not showing any pay channels like before. I can get into all download settings etc.

      I do a network test and everything is ok apart from naneserver which shows a red cross.

      I put in what I thought was the correct ip of the router but no change.

        is dhcp on or off m8 if its off turn it on then it should change to new settings

          The nameserver is the DNS server of your service provider. If you set up with DHCP then you will see what the ip address is for ISP's nameservers oafterwards change it back to static ip address. If you are using DNS host for your sat box then you will need to resynchronise it again with your new router.

            if you getting into downloads panel and thats all working....your network test is ok. if you not getting the pay channels as you say....i think you need to contact your provider mate....sounds like something that end is not right...they may have turned you off.

              I switched the dreambox off and booted again and it now works. Thanks for the help guys.
