Dreambox 800hd wont turn on

My Dreambox HD800 won't switch on

When you swtich the plug on you get a brief second red light flash above the dreambox on switch.

The network lights at the back are now on.

But nothing on the oled and the thing wont come on.

Anyone any ideas as to what the problem could be or how I could get it to power up.

might be a power brick problem ., l know mines fussy , if u pull the power out of the back of the box u have to put back in some 5 to 10 times before it powers back on

I think the psu transformer that came with it is also goosed.

So I'm currently using another 12v adapter, until I buy a new transformer for it.

But at the present moment, nothing is happening, all I've got is the two network lights at the back illuminated, but nothing else nothing on the oled.

and nothing happens when I press the power on button.

Its looking pretty goosed

the power one your using might not be compatible . common and power might be crossed

Hopefully thats the case, I'll need to get one ordered from ebay.
