DM800HD SE Clone help

Hi Im moving to sat from cable and have bought a DM800hd SE clone thats on its way from china.
It says it has BL 82 and GP510 which I assume is bootloader 82 and not sure what GP510 is.
I would like to know basically what I need to get it up and running IE which firmware is best to flash it with as there seems to be quite a few?

gp is the gemini project. its an image for the box. there are many images for the box and more by the day. only after trying out a few images will you know what you like/dislike.

i suggest having a look around and seeing what catches your eye mate.

Thanks, once I get the firmware sorted is it straight forward getting it ready to use a pay server? is there anything else I need to download?

The box should be good to go as it arrives. When I got my 800hd it came with the gemini image, I left this on there till I was more familiar with the box and then started dropping other images on.

After trying loads I in the end I settled for the latest OpenPLi but the image and skin that you go for in the end really will all be down to personal taste.
