signal bar is not working good on my dm 800 hd se clone, sim 2.01, ssl82, image Domic

    Hi,

    I have a dm 800 hd se, sim 2.01, ssl82 with image Domica. I have a 78cm Triax sattelite outside with 4 lnb's (hotbird, astra 1, astra 2 and astra 3).

When I go to the tuner configuration and go to the sat finder option I see the signal bar. Something is wrong because the signal bar is going up and down like:

    0%
    10%
    0%
    76%
    100%
    0%
    etc.

I have try my old dm 800 hd pvr clone with image open pli 2.0 beta and there everything is working OK. The signal bar shows the signal good and is not going up and down.

I think the Domica image has not the good drivers for my tuner inside my dreambox. I see on my tuner the Dreambox logo and see also a sticker with the text "Sunray Sunshine". I have flashed my dreambox with this image:

    Domica Image for DM800se-ramiMAHER #ssl82 07-31

Does someone know what my problem is? Do I have to use a bether image or do I have to upgrade my ssl82 to ssl84? I hope someone can help me.

Shouldnt really matter what bootloader you are using mate.

Could try a scan and check the configuration of your tuner.

it's not anything to do with the clone mate its the dish not pointing to the right place.

are you using fixed or motorised.?

Sounds as if your dish mighy be out of place a wee bit mate.

Maybe bad weather at some point has caused it.

Sent him an email it's Chinese holiday till the 8th asked him to send me a new tuner, have bought a lot of sat boxes off him over the years for myself and friends so shouldn't be any hassle.
