if its saying stop and no ip....check your router that'll tell you the ip if its connected.

not showing as connected on router,ip which i think is ending in 2 is getting pinged ok from router,not connected to network on dream,test failed

ok. let the box boot up, let it get an ip. then from the router give it that ip as static. do a network test on the make sure all working. then try the power button holding down and plug out and in ishould give you the static ip u assigned to it.

took it off dhcp give it ip addie,network test all fine ,does not show as connected device on router,on static on router saying not active,have just rebooted router aswell
ahh ,just atcivated it,see what happens now

still cant get a ip addie on boot ,just stop,baffled,this all came about from losing my service,e mailing him and saying i was stil connected and there wasnt a problem,then the box started struggling to boot,have to have ago again on sat,out tomorrow,appreciate ye help,might shout out again over the weekend,cheers

yeah...i'm a bit confused ......whabout trying a image that worked previously via patched dreamup

connected on another version of dream up,says on the stb,error no ca found,dream up connects ,sits waiting for acknowledge

reading through threads,wonder if its the sim,cos been working fine for ages,where is the sim inside,might take it out clean etc

no ca error....we're getting somewhere now. using dreamup now you should be able to get a fresh image install now and then it should be working mate.
