    dreambox 800hd jumpy picture

hi all just bought a dreambox 800hd from ebay to replace my old 7000 (which i had no problem with) this is the description below i got it yesterday it has cccam 2.1.4 and all my pics on screen have a very shakey movement i couldnt even watch the football on itv it was knocking me sick its image is gemini 2 can anyone advise what to do thanks in advance
This Dm800 High Definition Satellite receiver with the latest tuner, latest 201E Sim and latest boot loader ss176 and latest Image .
I have owned this for 6 months now and have made a few enhancements to ensure it runs perfectly. Superb HD picture quality,
fully loaded with sim201e_ssl76_ Latest Gemini image, cccam latest version,
Internally it has been modified with a new super silent fan on the main board to keep it cool, it has the latest tuner which helps to eliminate glitching on some HD channels,

If your not familiar with the dream box, please do a bit of research before buying as they are not normally for begginers. Once set up, it is simple to operate and use. I also recommend a 20db inline amp to be used with this receiver ( about ?4 on EBay).

The receiver is in very good condition and in perfect working order, it is boxed with all accessories and instructions. It's in the UK and ready to ship to the winning bidder.
If you want a 320GB Hard drive and a Vonets wireless bridge just let me know

    Thanks for your interest.

    Specifications
    2010 version dreambox 800hd
    BL76,
sim 2.01 with ALPS tuner L3 version dreambox 800hd

the latest tuner in the dm800 is the Rev M tuner (801A)
the Rev L tuner which you have in at present does have problems with glitching etc. and sometimes the use if a sloping inline amp can be used but i have used one and still had to replace the tuner with the latest one
the seller did say that it was the latest tuner which stopped the glitching but at the end of the description he stated the tuner was Rev L
great pity you did not do some research on the dm800 and you would have been aware of the problem

i have a dm7000s which i still use and is very good but of course only sd

i would see if it was possible for a refund from the seller on the grounds that the sytem does not work as it should and does not have the latest tuner in it
hope you did not pay too much for it (?80/90) as a new Rev M tuner is approx ?40
          good luck

As sated above the box does not have the latest tuner in it, those L revsion tuners caused a lot of glitching originally, and peeps had to add this and that to sort it out which was a lot of hassle and extra expence.

You will need to replace it with a M tuner, but due to fleebay pulling dreambox's etc i hope you can sort it with out to much hassle to get a full or partial refund.

ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player.
