    Can't FTP my dm800 ?

For some reason I can no longer ftp my dm800 anymore.

I had no problems before today but I changed my router last week and at first it was fine. No settings were changed but today the internet stopped working.

I had to change the ip to dynamic from fixed as it was before to make the internet work.

Now the internet works but I can't ftp the dreambox. Also the dm800 ip address seems to of changed when I look at the connected devices to my router.

    Any ideas ?

so is the ip address on the dreambocx the same as on your router~?

can you connect to a server fronm your dreamb ox ie a download server?

try resetting the network on the dreambox

The ip did change but thats because I went to using dhcp so it was an auto change.

I've gone back to non dhcp and both ip's match and the network test works ok.

Still can't ftp on either of the ftp programs though.

        Sounds normal to me.
Routers will usually give you a range of either 192.168.x.x or 10.1.x.x on your LAN.
Are you using DCC to ftp?
If so when you open DCC it should automatically fill in the IP for for pc but you'll have to manually insert the box's IP. You might have to check the network settings in your DM800 to see what IP address has been assigned to your box.

            Strange.
            What brand router is it?
            Maybe built-in firewall?

Lastly try a different ftp app, sometimes winscp gives such issues however filezilla works, try a different software for a change just in case...
