I would just type the IP address 192.168.xxx of your box and press the webtv button. p.s. you can also watch on your mobile, number of free apps out there

you got "vlc player" on the laptop ?
if not , install it and right click the stream icon and "open with vlc"

Get 'Dreamstream' from Dream mulitmedia - fantastic programme, better than the web interface!!

Seems like your network is slow or the speed of your network card on your machine.

Try connecting the dreambox to a switch via ethernet. Then connect your pc to that switch and try dreamstream. If you no longer have a buffering problem then you know you need to improve your network speeds.

                        Regards

                            Hi

I tried dreamstream what Mr S recommended and it works sweet so if your saying your speed is good then should be working fine as my broadband is not great but works fine.

VLC is a struggle though and I have tried the one I said but this dreamstream is the best I reckon, I had to edit the dreamstream config to get it to work but once sorted works great.

                            Regards

Just installed Dreamstream. All I get is a series of "still" pics from the channel I want to watch. What have I done wrong.

                              Any help appreciated.

                              Cheers
