Hi can any body tell me how to record ..stop recording and play recording back just bought manual for the sat 800hd pro on record section it tell you to press red options button and up should come 5 options got nothing when pressing red options button any one advise please thanks mial

ok might sound silly but have installed a hard drive? and mounted it correctly?

on a dm800 press the rec button on the remote to record a channel that is playing that you are watching

or goto: the EPG planner and when on a programme press the green button to add a timer then the green again to confirm
