Ferrari SIM in clone DM800HD PVR

Have a clone DM800, bought a Ferrari SIM just for fun.
Sadly I'm not able to flash anything yet. Only get -> error! on LED display at booting.
When trying to Dream-it-up I'll get the familiar "No CA found by 2nd stage loader" error message.
Of course I've tried all different versions of DreamUp, a lot different SSL:s, Enforcer and so on, but no luck.
Searched here and a lot on the web for a solution but so far no luck yet.

Tried excellent OptiFlasher 1.06 by Yassinov, that produced following output:

    Dreambox Detected...Ok!
    Sending Flash Loader...
    Second Stage OK!
Boot Success & Ready For Network Web Interface!
    Connected !
    Name: BT-SSL76F
    FSize: 213376 bytes
    MD5: CD8CE5673014C5C0F8245C4A5439B307
Please Wait ! Do not Disconnect Until Done/Reboot !
    DreamBox Flashed Successfully !

    wouldn't that be a success? But ...

... when connecting via web interface:

    Product Name ???
Booloader version Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #59, built 20080509
    Flash Size 64 MB
    Production Date (YYYY/MM/DD) N/A
    mID ?
    Serial Number ?
    MAC Address ?
    Printed Serial Number ?

Something wrong with the Ferrari SIM?
Hardware problem (apart from SIM)? Not likely, the DM800 works well with the original SIM 2.01.

Any suggestions what to try next?

    Regards,
    Mats
