i use cross epg (download panel or tspanel) and store the data on a mounted usb drive

Am setting up dreambox edit.Icheck my i.p. and the test is fine though when I test username/password (default) I cannot connect. It is set as default port 21.

Any ideas ?

That's the problem.... I have been following this guide.

When I change default IP address and test it tells me connection good.

Moving down to username and password on dreambox (default) test connection says "unable to connect to (my IP address and default port no 21)

Any idea ?

which image you using ? if you check the thread/link were you downloaded it from it may tell you they have changed the default user/pass

if not can you log into it with regular ftp prog , either filezilla or dcc
