There is a tmp folder, believe me, I am looking at it in the image you are using, and as your image is Enigma based I do not think you can just pop in a tmp folder as it has a structure to be adhered to.

But fire ahead by all means.

Hi, I'm trying to locate your image so I can see who patched it put there are several versions out there the most common being by ferret that already has tspanel installed.
If your image doe not thenI dont think you can just make a new tmp folder so im trying to find out where your is in the image it may take a while but I should find it so just bare with us please

Ok your right i am just a nob found it now but were is the manual installation of ipk to be found.

You will only learn by doing it right in the first place so if you like the image the tmp folder will be there

That was a while ago that was on Dreamelite for the Dreambox800hd but should be similar.
Its worth spending 5 minutes reading the ts panel post,all the answers are in there.

i have done that and according to dcc it was transfered but when i look in plugins after reboot its not there.The answers are probably there but to a newbie like me its does not make sense thats why i am greatful for your help

I recently reflashed my box and it took me about half an hour to locate it because all images are slightly different but if you just press green button and its not there then go into menu an just look in setup or system or software management etc until you find manual installer tar.gz/ipkg .

You need to install it first. You are sending it to tmp but not installing it by the looks of it. You will find manual ipk install for Dreamelite as per the instructions above. From memory press green on the remote, then press yellow, go to manual install del package, press ok you will find the file there just press ok .

To recap, after FTP to tmp via DCC, (or any FTP app), follow instructions to manual install TS Panel ipk and after install completes the reboot.
