cant seem to get epg to work , dm800se

hi guys just installed Newnigma2-dm800se-ssl84-sim210 -sat4fun

on my dm800se , but for the life of me i cant understand how to get an epg to work , currently now when i click my bouquets buttons all i get is a list of channels , in alphabetical order

how do i get my channels in groups , ie like movies grouped , sports grouped cartoons grouped

just need something easier

Dl crossepg from tspanel and set up crossepg, Works a treat on that image

The TS panel is in the sticky . FTP to temp file and using newnigmas services manually install. Once installed it shows up as a plug in.

you will need to restart after install. then it will appear under setup on menu. configure what epg you want installed and download. done.

This is correct. On the Newnigma it will be Menu Set Up CrossEPG.
Bear in mind you'll need a HDD or USB drive as therer wont be enough room on the flash

yeah ive a wee 4gb usb stick in the back , dont suppose you have skype or some other messenger , as im really stuck

goto configure in crossepg - choose storage device as usb then the other options as you see fit like daily updates etc.

goto opentv providers and choose sky uk.

also goto newnigma services system tools - epg cache file settings and make sure you got sb ther as well.

save and download.

but when i go to choose storage device its not showing the usb stick , but when i go to system tools , it shows the usb stick

goto tspanel and system tools, device manager and initialize usb stick

restart goto cross epg, if still not there, i found that removing cross epg and reinstalling then usb came up

i've been having issues with this plugin also. i've got crosseepg all set up, and it downloads and saves the files to my pen stick, how and where exactly do you need to set the cache file to be?

and this may be a noob question but how do you view the epg?
