no rs 232 on 800se clone

Im a newbie and before i flash im trying to get/understand as much info as possible.
Now from what i understand is if u brick your box you can recover by connnecting to pc/labtop with rs-232?

There is no rs-232 connection on the back of my 800se clone.
However there is a mini USB port marked as service( the type a mobile would have on it)?

Would this be the connection i use if i brick it?

Yes, you will see a few threads with the specific details regards reflash via usb, using Sunray Dreamup 1.3.3.7 or later.
