Network setup?

Hi everyone got my powerline adapters now but having a bit of trouble setting up a network.
in test network im getting the following

ip address x unconfirmed

nameserver x unconfirmed

my router is a Huawei echolife 521

any help would be appreciated.

Not sure as been ages since I set mine up but have you gone through the setup process for the adapters....pairing them together etc.

did you follow the instructions via the set up disk that comes with powerline adaptors, it you have should no problem there quite straight forward

The comtrent 902 powerline adapters are plug and play. You basically turn off router and turn back on and the recognise themselves.

Dreambox recognising

lan connection connected then green tick
local connected then green tick
DHCP enabled then green tick

Yeh thats right but you havent mixed them up have you cos one should be the access point which serial no ends in A which is the one thats connected to your router.

The other one is the end point, this would be used to connect to box, just check to be sure.

Failing that reset both and setup again, thats if you have the setup instructions. if you havent got the instructions you should be able to download them if you cant let me know and Il try and upload them.

OK got it sorted, comtrend instuctions f2%k?d up only had to keep config button pressed until status button turned red constantly on the additional adapter then it turns green. NOT carry out the additional steps.
Checked status by 192.168.1.2 to enter comtrend config and all adapters showing as connected.
A small battle is won but the war isnt over.
