    Device manager

    From what i understand i have to go into device manager to mount a hd on my dm800? However i cant seem to get into device manager? its probably something simple and me just being a dope.

    any help?

              On my blackhole image I have to
              press menu
              then setup
              then system
              then it should have the option you want there

                    just a thought I have tspanel installed on my dreambox and on that it has device manager and i've checked that the mount/unmount hdd is there and it is .you could try that way.

                      Just tried that getting a green screen when I click it. Also tried to install the device manager plug in but its saying it cannot find the package.

                      Just Gunna take it back tomorrow I think.

                        device manager plugin and device manager tool in tspanel work with same mechanism and both give green screens when there is an issue with the device
                        for me the best image managing devices is gp3 image

                          I can now access device manager but its only finding my hd caddy and not the hardrive. can anyone reccomend a hd the definatly works on these boxes? its problem after problem for me!
