Adjust your Long m8 move up in point 2 and see if it gets better or move down the same ie. Long 2.6 move 2.8 3.0 etc and the same down. your dish could be slightly out and moving your long may help

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

            just wanted to ask,
am i right in thinking that if i wanted to physically align the dish to get maximum snr, should i do that whilst on thor 0.8w?

If you mean tweaking the long/lat as per bulldogs tip ,I would choose your weakest sat signal

                  hey peeps,
i just wanted to ask with usals,
is there anyway i could tell the dish to move right or left manually through the reciever like i could with diseqc?

some peeps are getting 7w at the moment with obviously stronger signals,
im based in brum with a 90cm dish so i wanted to give it a go,
but i understand that 7w is more like 7.3w,
so need to nudge the dish a little more west,
                  hence my question

Put it on 7w then press menu, setup, service searching, positioner setup, positioner fine movement, red or blue to get the best snr then store position, see if that works.

                      hey bud,
i put it on 7w, moved the motor slightly more west, got a it flicking onto lock at 29%snr,
on some channel called '4shababquran' (just tried the first one i saw),
so i store it, when i get out of the menu and go back on to the channel,
the motor moves it back to 7w, any ideas?

Go into tuner config and take note of your longitude setting then tweak it by .2 + or - increments until you get the snr up again on that channel.

but i have already tweaked the longitude to get the best snr for all the satellites which i receive
