Strange channel clearing prob..

Heres a strange one..

So got DM800 up and running no problem, been going for months and months. All of a sudden channels have stopped clearing, even FTA ones. So you can write off the net etc as being the problem.

Reflashed the box, all working again.. only for 20mins or so tho, and bang, all go off again. Changed the PSU as I know this can cause probs, worked again. For 20 mins, then gone again.

When reflashing, I noticed it couldn't find the HD in the device manager which I found strange but thought nothing of it. But then shortly after it would find the HD. Gonna take that out next and see if that helps any..

Anyone else got any ideas while Im at it? Gonna reseat the tuner also, but cant see how or why that would have come out slightly..

Also, its not the dish or LNB, doing it on 2 different dishes..

seems like you know what to check, the hdd can slow things down

Yeah thats the problem, I know what to check!

Gonna take the hard drive out first, see if that helps in anyway. Then going to have to get hold of a new tuner if that doesn't help, its just strange because on the channels the signal strength is bang on, nice and high as usual, just no clearing.

Damn things going in the bin shortly..

Checked the hard drive, nope..
Reflashed.. nope..
Changed Power supply... nope
Reseated tuner.. nope..

Then I reflashed with a different image, and all works fine now. I dont get it. I reflashed with the same image that had been working for months and it didn't fix it, relfash with a different image and it works..

im stumped, but either way its working now.. haha
