dcc will not connect to dm800

Guys, have googled but no joy, if you could point me in the right direction it would be a grate help.

Have come to use DCC, as have in the past a good few times, but when I enter the IP addy from the dm800 (and for that matter, but the ip addy into config edit), it wont find it. If I search on the DCC it will not find it.

Am stumped. It has connected in the past. It is static and Dm 800 is showing on my router. could you help.

    dm800 clone with blackhole.

might be worth a reboot on the router.

on the dm, on browse network neighbourhood, it gives ip as

          192.168.2. a number

on the dcc search ip addy dm it gives a range from 192.168.1. 1 to 254

if i put it in the ccam edit, it says could not connect to remote server.

its like the dm is not on my networ, but it shows on my router???

have re booted everything a few times last couple of days.

the router must work as an old sealion is working.

I know you say the dm has static ip, it should'nt change, but have you checked that the ip addy is same in your dm network settings as the addy you are using to connect.

I mean is the ip addy you are trying to connect with the same as the ip displayed in your network settings on the dm, I know it should be, but just to be sure.

if you put that address into web browser , if it works it will take you to dreambox web page
if not , the ip may have changed

                      thanks all anyway.
