    DM 800HD Se clone problem

    Hi,

    Took ownership of Dm800HD SE clone yesterday.

    Nice box, build quality is just OK.

    Problem with the box is when I go to choose the tuner, it says Tune A slot is empty.
    I opened the box to make sure all connections are ok and they seem fine. Green light on the tuner.
    DM800HD se running on AllRussian, sim 2.01 with bootloader 84a.

    Returning to the scene so really new to this so please comment in layman's terms

      Are you using USALS have you entered your lat and long. To select tuner \Menu\Setup\Service searching\Tuner configuration\Tuner\Configuration mode\ Choose simple mode and add lat and long if using USALS

          When I go to \Menu\Setup\Service searching\Tuner configuration,
          it comes up choose tuner but Tuner 'A' states empty -nothing.

          Pulling what's left of my hair out here. Basically it can't see the tuner.

              Press ok when you get ti the tuner a part or press right or left to select a tuner, if thay fails you will need to take the box lid off and make thr tuner is seated correctly! They do have a habit of coming out during transit

                  Tried that Andy. No response pressing left or right. Have checked inside the box and tuner seems to be well secured. There is a green led lit on the tuner so it is getting power.

                  Any other suggestions. Would hate to have to send it back to China, mega cost!!

                                  Are you sure ethe image has patched drivers because if you are using a genuine image with sim 2.10 bootloader tuner will not work unless you apply the patched kernals...

                                              Has a similar problem when my 800se arrived. Had to open box and fully push down tuner to make it connect. Also noticed that the ring was slack at the back where it attaches to the base unit.

                                              Don't know if it had become loose during transit or it just had been poorly assembled.

                                                      Can't flash via web browser as there is no firmware upgrade button at the bottom of the page when I put the ip address into my web browser

                                                          Oops my mistake.
                                                          Didn't have it in flash mode.
                                                          Flashed it with web browser but still doesn't see tuner - slot empty
