installing the cross epg is a doddle and works good on the blackhole image i have,also my missus has just got used to the blackhole image and how to record,pause ect so i aint changing it to a completely different image..i had ear ache for a couple weeks when i first got it installed.."how do you do this and that..what's that for..its not like $ky is it"..i ant going through that shit again

This image has both drivers installed, 7.3 and 7.4... and in fact use the 7.3 drivers as also all the python old application inside.

So nothing more that just esthetic, changing the dates and images... so you have when installing it, a mid 2010 image with 7.3 drivers running from 2010 (and not 7.4 from 2011)... the screenshot gives latest drivers installed, but not the ones in use...

its for ferrari sim only

Do you know how to load a SSL.NFI file to change SSL ?

This will definitely be the solution probably you didn't thought about... to have your sim supported or use even the original sim.

Doh ! Yes I can read.

It was just that Toysoft has been 'championing' this image quite a lot and was asking IF it could be modified to suit sim201.

this image is not sim201 compatable , why you wrote sim201 in title as this will lead to confusion and issues of "no ca error"

any image is compatable with both sims provided you load appropriate ssl afterwards , nevertheless all images are named for the sim type that works without loading a new ssl afterwards, i fear your posts will lead to some confusion here with new users toysoft

This will be a common mistake amongst new users,mixing threads about different images and sims will have a No Ca Found epidemic.
Personally i think the posts should be moved all users will get confused.

Perfectly right, this is the main error for most users. Only one thing can fix it, always load the SSL for the installed sim card after installing an image. As the mixup as you tell well can go all ways, original box, sim 2x and sim ferrari, without talking about the various other sims 1.0 / 3.0 etc.

Upload the SSL for your sim just after having loaded the main image. You have links for the various boxes, DM800, DM800se, DM500HD and DM8000.
