    DM800 clone tunners

Ive got 2 clone 800's rev m tunners with sim 2.01 bl 82. There both glitching every few mins. Ive tried various images but nothings fixing the fact that there crap tunners. Ive been told to try and swap the tunners for other rev m tunners. Is this worth spending ?70 on 2 new tunners that are prob clones aswell? Anyone tried this before.

    Thanks for any replies.

    Gav.

if you have rev m tuners in already then i cant see how changing them to the same rev m tuners will alter things!

When you say glitch is this on all channels or just paid channels such as sky movies and skysports?

Yeah mate, you might want to look at your server...

Ive had countless rev M's, never had a problem. Seems strange you have 2 faulty ones!

Ive aslo got a vu+solo on the same share thats flawless. Both the clones have got good signal, connections ect. It was the last thing i could think of to try. The fta channels glitch sometimes but not as bad as the others. The boxes are only 2 months old so i might try the seller. The image there ruinning on is a phoenix image. not exactly sure which one as im not at home the now. Anyone recomend working images with open vpn .

          Cheers.

If theres no glitch on BBCHD its def your server and not the box unless the dish is massively offline.
Whats the snr like on BBCHD?

no mate the box is cool. both have internal fans that work well. the boxes have good signal, mostly over 80%. The image there on is sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX-dm800
Ive noticed theres a newer image out, was wondering if anyone has tried it
                  Sat4fun-Dreamelite-BlackHole_PHOENIX_DM800HD-SIM2-SSL84

Was gona give it a go over the weekend to see if it improves the tunners performan.
                  Thanks for the replies.
