Sometimes you'll get hit with that. Just luck at the end of the day. But if you tell them to mark a low value and "gift"on the customs declaration. Then it would reduce your chances of having to pay the import charge.

i also got mine from ruby at L & W, ordered on a friday morning,
was delivered on monday morning, not bad at all if you ask me,
would defo use ruby again

I've looked at the suggested websites and am confused by the number of different dm800's.

Which one is best for the UK and most upto date

the dm800 se is by far the better of the bunch

if your going this far also look at vu duo clone for 190

better than 800se as its also got twin tuner

m8 it all depends where you get subs from as i use one in my duo and was told to do this from provider

what is the vu duo, is it just another form of dreambox ?

And is it as well supported?

I also noticed after doing a search and looking at threads, that there are problems with its software kernal being outdated, so its needs to be flashed which has caused some people problems.

I also get the fealing that its better buying directed from China than the UK.

Has any got any oppinion of these isues ?
