Came across a image like that myself for the life of me cant remember what one though.

Give what I said a try mate. If that dont work I suggest changing image as there's nothing worse it messes with EPG times and is just a pain.

I can set the time/time zone alright it is just when i put the box instandby then turn it on again the time displayed is the time i put it in standby thus knocks out the epg and recordings.
I think its something to do with cross.epg gonna try uninstalling it to see if that is the problem.

In all honesty mate I dont see how crossepg would effect the time.

I would try another image, if you like that image if possible try another version of it.

I have tried about 10 different images, all suffer from the same problem. The time seems to slow down in standby, and I end up with a clock many hours behind.

                  I am using a DM800SE clone.

Not sure what version it is but it doesn't have a front usb.
Uninstalled crossepg last night. And will check when I get in from work to see if it has sorted the problem.

have you tried 82 , 84 , 84a images , maybe if you load a latest 84a image it will upgrade bootloader and possibly fix the issue
personally i use the 84a image from here image http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...0/index14.html

Mine is from UK dreamshop, and does not have the USB on the front. I upgraded the 2nd stage bootloader to 84a, and have been using Nemesis 2.4 lately. It is strange how the clocks slows down??

Very odd I dont have this issue had my SE for a wee bit now.

I did have a issue with the clock on 1 image cant remember which one and think alom did to so that instance would have been a image issue.

                            Have you contacted the seller?

So it is not that it is on another timezone i.e. a hour out, its actually slowing down?

there is a plugin called "ntpupdate manager"
this will resolve your wrong time issue , not sure if its available on tspanel , if not , you can grab it here

                              enigma2-plugin-extensions-ntpupdatemanager_1.0.2_mipsel.ipk (3.37 kB)

                              ------------------------------------------------------

                              2nd method is
you can add in /etc/enigma2/settings :
                              " config.misc.useTransponderTime=True "

this will grab and sync time from satellite feed

                              -------------------------------------------------------

let us know if either method works , as others can then see here for info to resolve the same issue , thanks
