Image + Ccam problem

Hi, im having major difficulty finding an image which has ccam available on it. I have tried Gemini but cannot download via addons, tried nabilo but wont connect to server and tried commando. Just wanted to know if the following image which is available in the downloads section has ccam pre installed and if i need to do anything with it when installed - Gemini 4.2.0(DM 500S) CCCAM 2.1.4 (clone safe). Or can anyone please provide a link for another image from where i can download via addons or an image that already has ccam installed? My box is a dreambox 500s thanks guys

i posted a gp 4.2 (blueline skin) image in the downloads with c**am 2.2.1 /C**am.info/ecm info all installed. ive tested it and its clone safe and very stable. regards mdt

Thanks for the reply guys, mdt, once ive installed that image via Dreamup do i need to do anything else to install ccam or will it start automatically, thanks

you might have to go in the softcam menu and set c**am as the default cam but thats easy enough and takes 30 seconds to do. regards mdt

there is good nabilo maxvar v8 image (for a dm500s ) which you can download from the last link of my signature area ,the addons work fine and you can easily install cccam .you can also download dreamup/dreambox edit /dream control center etc from the same link .

Hi guys managed to flash with gemini project image with ccam, only problem is when i search for channels and select astra 28.2 alot of channels are missing from sky, any info on how to get all channels would be appreciated thanks?

it would seem your satellite.xml file is not up todate ,so you need to download one from some where and put it into var/etc in your box and then do a rescan for channels and the missing channels should appear .i think there is a satellite.xml file that you can download from the last link of my signature area .

put this file in your box with dcc then re-start your box.... it has the usual sats from 45e to 45w(sd txp,s) regards mdt

Thanks guys, uploaded that sat.xml file mdt and it worked a gem. Does anyone have an up to date bouquet file? Does this also go in var/etc

to edit/add bouquets you need to install/use dbedit which you can find in the downloads section. linux boxes are graet but require a great deal of reading/trial+error/swearing ect ect before you can make the most out of it. there are a few bouquet(settings files) around the forums from sgtflipflop(uk mainly), likra/vhannibal/catseye ect ect just make sure you use a E1 version for your box and if you get stuck just ask. regards mdt
