Strange they picked on me alone to ban then. I wasn't a smart ass or disrespectful, I simply asked for the password to the ssl.rar... I went back to the site an hour later to see if there was any response and I was gone, along with my post.

At the time (Dec. 2010) I was pretty confident Ferrari was lying about having their "fix" , but I didn't say as much. I just wanted the password so I could be proved wrong (that Ferrari actually does what they claim). Unfortunately that instant ban was proof enough for me. Keep up the fine support...

got my se of tony oled was faulty so sent it back 3 weeks getting there 3 days comming back, they forgot to add my hard drive so i have been waiting a further 3 weeks so far , i would pay the extra to buy from a uk seller in future

A lot of members get banned from there, if you question any of the Ferarri team lies and propoganda. The fake SSL stuff was actually quite funny. As long as you are a "fanboy" and agree with everything they say they dont ban you.

Shame really it used to be a good forum when it was impartial before Ferarri team became the sponsor, then basically all the lies, propoganda and banning started.

Look around the various forums, and see how many people are buying SIM 2 products instead of Ferarri especially for DM800HD and DM800SE units, numbers speak for themselves. Although I have seen VU DUO clone sections on the ferarri forum, and they are the only team with a DM8000 clone.

hi there,

just a quick update, received the box yesterday, couldn't power it on as it had a faulty power supply (it took me a good hour to realise that,and after some readings on the forums). good thing i had a spare 12 v power supply for one of my external hdd, that did the trick and box powered on. remote control was very poor build and could not hold the batteries..buttons are not good quality too,but this is to be expected from clones,i'll see if i can find an original one for sale on e-bay or forums.. Anyway box is working and rebooting fine after i have squize-tested it, i like the picture quality so far, and tuner is top notch. fan is near to silent, and box is literally cold all the time.

also tested it as a media player, playing .xvid's and .mkv's from my portable hdd, and it does them smoothly with 0 crashes.recorded from hd channels without problems.

Believe it or not but some batteries are actually bigger than others, can't remember which type is which but you will find a battery that fits mate, had same issue myself
