    Upgrade from DM800HD Pro

I got my dm800HD Pro last xmas and fancy a new one to fiddle with over the xmas period holidays this year as well....

Is the new se that much of a upgrade?

Would like a dual tuner one but i think that may be to much for my budget....

Dont hear much about any other boxs than dream boxes these days?

Read about the vu duo + but not many any other dual tuner boxes....

    Any opinions appreciated...

Hope your all having a good evening...

The SE is a much refined variant of the DM800HD. The 800HD in it's own right is a good little reliable box espcially the PRO units with Rev M tuners.
    Benefits with the SE:

    - faster CPU 400mhz so faster bootup, all round general faster menu navigation and response.

    - better build quality

    - Large silent software and tempreature controllable fan no need for extra cooling.

    - Media player function is great for network streaming xvid, divx etc from networrk shares or playing directly from USB/internal hard disk etc..

If you want dual tuners the VU DUO clone is apparently imminent looks like a ferarri team product though. You could also look at the Qbox Mini HD not as well supported as the VU or dreamboxes but Twin tuner for 225 aint a bad price.
