    help setting up a dm800hd pvr

    i have a dm800hd pvr with a 1m motorised dish the dish is setup as far as i know i pointed it to astra 28.2e and did a scan and it found all the sky uk channels

    now how do i get it to scan other sat's i have a gemini image installed so its all new to me i have never used this image nor have ever set up a motor would i just add a new saterlite.xml file then would it know where they are?

    The first thing I would do is go to the stickies and working your way from the last post in the cateyes thread download the latest catseyes boutiques list.

    You can use dreamboxedit to FTP that list over to your box.

    If you get stuck at all doing that, or after that, just give another shout on this thread and someone with more experience in motorised setups may be able to help.

      if your using diseqc 1.2 this is a good set up guide
      i found elsewhere and the credit goes to the named

        @ kondor10001 thanks i dont think ill have any problem ftp'ing or using dreamedit i have been using them for years on my itgate box but thank you and the boutique list should be handy so i wont have to scan all the sats i just need to know if i need to do any thing to set up the motor but am sure ill figure that out in the guide benny/9 posted (thanks benny)

          provided your tuner is configured correctly , and the dish is following the arc , catseye settings should be all you need mate

              You need to get your long and lat for your area and input this into your box located in the tuner configuration page, and set it up as simple first, load any motor bouquets and that should be it and much easier than using diseqc 1.2 for a first timer.

              ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player.
