    DM 800 CHAT?

    Have these sub cats been created cos the amount of DM 800 posts?

    Gonna install a sata hard drive in my mates Pro box is there a short tut anywhere before i start to troll through hundreds of posts?
    Got an idea but wondered if anyone took some time to write a brief tutorial/

          I know i jumped in a bit without having a look and i did stumble over the above post after i posted.
          Think the the new sub divisions will help especially as so many have Dreambox 800s.

                      Hey Andy, installing a hd is doddle mate, I did one recently with no prior experience. Basically:

                      1. Remove case.
                      2. Connect sata cable to 2.5" drive.
                      3. Use the small screws that came with the Dreambox to secure the harddrive. This bit can be a bit fiddley if you are all fingers and thumbs like me.
                      4. Reattach case
                      5. Start dreambox and initialise the HD.

                      You're done. It really is quite easy and a fairly intuitive process. Just use logic and you won't go far wrong :
