hi guys anyone know how to get rid of the black bars on some channels on a dreambox 800 , this is only on some channels movies,sports are 100% but some of the others are like the pic below and just cant get rid of them

menu - setup - system - A/V Settings - Display content... scale, letterbox, panscan, etc

Or you can install quickbutton or multiquickbutton & configure a button press to change/cycle thru the options.

good tip that mate , never thought of using quick button for that purpose , cheers , have mine set to "just scale", but a few channels still dont fit the screen fully

tryed this m8 tryed all settings there and still getting the bars will try it from the quickbutton when i install it

Quickbutton will just be a shortcut to toggle menu - setup - system - A/V Settings - Display content. If that doesn't work I don't see quickbutton making a difference, sorry...
