HDD install - Tune Failed/Green Screen

Hi installed a 40gb HDD into my 800se today and installed permanent timeshift, crossepg and picons to it. since then every so often (some times 5min sometimes longer) I get Tune failed pop up on the screen and all channels go off? also when reading program info I get green screen after so long?

any one had any similar problems or know how to solve it?

What sim type is your box. Reason I ask is some Ferrari boxes have issues when adding a hdd, there is a 6 page thread over at there support forum regarding a soldering mod to fix it

No its not the Ferrari sim its just the 2.10 or standard SE one, Ive took the HDD out and uninstalled everything and its still doing it!

Internal temp is about 28 which from what I've read on other forums isnt that hot.

if you can ftp in to it
            have a look in
            usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions

for the Plugins folders that you uninstalled
            sometimes they dont uninstall
            delete them manually
            and reboot

Sounds more like a psu issue.

Change to a spare psu and see how it goes.
