Stream problem DM800se

My system is working fine.

DCC confirms all is well. CCCamconfig gets right IP every time.

However when I try to stream through Dreamstream or VLC I am unable to connect to server at...(the correct IP address)

Has anyone any clue why I cannot stream ?

Newer VLC versions ( >=1.0 iirc) require the remote box's (DB) IP to be added to VLC's hosts file. Under linux it's @ /usr/share/vlc/http/.hosts, I don't know where it is in Windoze, I'd guess in VLC's install directory...
