hi can anyone tell me how to connect my drambox 800 hd to dreambox control center or can i use flash fxp

With a crossover cable (Looks like an ethernet cable), or if the box is connected through a wireless router / hub and a wireles laptop / PC you can connect through your network.

But we can talk about connecting your box up to DCC / ftp program, once you are connected you can do what you want, have you got any connection to the box from any of these programs, and are the username and passwords correct ?

when i use flashfxp its says password (hidden) and when i use dreambox control center i get the green lines from the pc to the box and to the router but when i try to reconnect its saying incorrect login

username - root.
Password - Dreambox

I have had problems with passwords etc etc....

Try username - root, password - blank (spelling blank) if blank don't work tap the space bar 5 times to spell blank and see if that works.

If all else fails try different FTP software as in my experience they are all tempremental.

dune that do u think i have got the cables in right connect from the box to my laptop i have got one comeing from my bt hub to the boxs and from my bt hub to my laptop thanks for your help
