Newbie help :(

Hello, as you can tell I'm new but we all start at zero knowledge when it comes to things we don't know.

I have spent many hours on google searching on how to set everything up but many of the guides for "setup" are only turning the thing on and changing the language or the other guides are in space science talk haha.

Ill explain where I am currently with setting the thing up below. P.S, its a clone so....

It has came with enigma 2. Currently all plugged into the tv with the sky lead in the "in" socket, correct yes? No sky card inserted however. What exactly is the router for?

Currently there are no bouquets but I'm working on that and I've downloaded dbedit and I will download some soon and I'll get them on.

See when I install the bouquets do I just scan for channels and it will find them? I have a fixed sky dish.

What have I missed, I'm sure its loads?

what box have you actually got ?
your dishes coaxial cable screws into the lnb in on your box.
the boquets you can transfer to the box using dbedit.
use sgt flipp flopps boquets.... they are excellent for sky uk.
the ethernet port is for connecting to your router and updating your box from the internet as well as aload more things that its possible of doing

I seem to be getting somewhere, be it slow. It is a dreambox 800hd pvr. I have used dbedit and ive downloaded channel lists. The reload settings button doesnt work. This error appears "Connect error setting up telnet session for sending reload command." The reboot button does work however, and the channels appear on the dreambox but they are greyed out.

UPDATE.

I can access all the channels that I have installed and they vary between appearing white and grey. The thing is, LNB is not available?
