hard disc wont record

Hi all have proplem with hard disc it wont record, get error on green screen and dream box has to restart whenever i try to record or set a timer on the epg. Problem started after i downloaded epg update any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated

Make sure your hard disk is initialised or formatted.
