    EPG on DM800 HD

    Hi
I installed Cross EPG plugin using Tunis sat on my Gemini 5.1 imgae DM800 HD, I attached a USB to the receiver and the receiver detected and formatted the USB but when I go to configure Cross EPG to use the USB to save the data the Cross EPG can't recognize there is a USB and the only option available is internal flash, how can I sort this? Very annoying

    cheers

Have you tried to mount the drive?

Hi Adam, I've formatted a usb & external hdd using the DM but strangely it doesn't format the device to the required file extension. You would think it knows what file ext it needs!
Try formatting it to EXT2 or EXT3 and see how you go.
My external hdd was never recognised even if I formatted it and mounted it with the DM until I changed it to an EXT file format.
              Hope that helps.

                Thanks mate
I tried both file systems EXT2 & EXT3 but still EPG program won't recognize the usb. I even used different usb. I suspect it is the version of the cross epg I have.

You should be able to use a USB formatted in FAT32 and it shouldn't need to be mounted. Maybe it's a Gemini issue, it works OK on BH.

Latest version can be found on the development site:
