DM800 HD PVR - Advice Needed

Hello Every one i have orderd this one htt.//www.dreambox800.co.uk/dreambox-800s/Dreambox-800-Satellite-Receiver-pro. I am awaiting delivery from DHL soon. I already have dm500s which is working fine. i am really noob at this so apologise if this has been asked already.

I have few questions
1- what image can i flash to this box to get best out of it (lastest image and guide would be great)
2- which bouguets i need for sly uk. 9guide would be great)
3- Any guide to find 28.2E slyuk sat.

has any one ordered from that site and how reliable are these boxes. DM800 is clone btw.

1 i use blackhole and like it
2i think crossepg is in the addons
3 google is your friend there mate
the 800 clones are very good value you wont regret it, there are may images i think ssl is 84 now i am using ssl82 i also like domica image it comes with cccam 2.1.4 pre installed

Thanks for quick reply. I will download blackhole image (which image do you recommend for clones). I wonder what image is installed on dm800 by default. I have dm500s which has pli jade image. how different is blackhole image to pli jade one?

Just checked the website it states it has sim 2.01 and bootloader 82. Do i need to upgrade to latest bootloader

make sure the image your download is for clones is your box sim 2.01 the 82 ssl comes already in the image so you just flash once

Yeah it looks like its 2.01 and has 82 ssl. I have seen SSL 84 can i flash this to the box? Which blackhole image s latest for clone versions?

Last screen on payment page It said you are buying clone box that's how I know.

When the box fires up it should say what sim version it is.
If not check underneath will probably say sim 2.
If you decide to flash a new image make sure you select image that states the same sim as your box.
Thats the general rule and you wont brick it.
