Otherwise, just get another dm800 ?
Dual login doent work on the sly package with the server im on.
Gonna do a bit digging to try and find another reliable server over the weekend.

I have had a huge problem with the box not keeping the correct time. Problem is that u cannot set a timer. Do u think this is an image problem or a system(i.e. box) issue ? I would try the ICVS image if you think that might sort the issue. Other than that , the box has no PVR function !!!!!!!!!!! Can u send a link for the ICVS image ???

alanbk, when and from where did you get your box? I had a word with my supplier about this issue and they told me it has now been fixed? But then again that's exactly what I'd expect them to say

i found the timer problem...it happened with the dm800pro first for me.....and it happens when you install a package and restart and do lots of restart.....somehow knocks the clock out of sync..

if you flash the image...install your plugins and do one restart after.....it's been fine....also some images seem to have more of a problem than others.

with regards to the lines for twin tuners....there's plenty out there that supply the 2 lines and at a discount.

my sollution to the twin tuner clone.....have 2 clones costs the same price but can get to have them in 2 different rooms works great for me

qbox mini hd with twin tuners is 225. Not as highly specced or as well supported as the Dreams or VU's but has the capibility to watch one channel record another etc.
The VU DUO clones are Ferarri Team products, so dont your breath for decent support....
VU DUO's are overpriced in my opinion if a DM800SE clone is 155 quid, all the DUO has thats better than a SE is a second tuner...this doesnt justify a 300 quid price tag...
You probably wont see a dual sat tuner for the 800SE not officially from DMM anyway they are releasing the 7020HD soon with twin tuners..they wont want to damage sales of this by bringing out a dual tuner for the 800SE. So unless the clone teams make a bespoke dual DVB_S solution for the 800SE twin tuner probably wont be seen...

I think if i decided to replace my Dreambox 800hd i would pay a bit more and get the Xtrend 9000 that looks a sleek box with a twin tuner.
