dreamup and windows 7

    dreamup and windows 7

    hi,
    is there anyway I can get patched dreamup running on windows 7 because mine is a clone , I have tried everything running as administrator,running in every compatibility mode it offers I have tried drivers and alls I get is error cant find any com ports.aborting and I have also looked at settings in device manager.

      Are you connecting from a Laptop or a Desktop. I have always had problems using a Laptop. If you are using a Laptop try and get access to a Desktop and try flashing from that

                  im using dreamup ver 1.3.3.9 and its works perfect on windows 7
                  dm500hd -dm500hd v2-vu+duo- triax 1.1m - inverto lnb - technomate 2300 motor- linksys ddwrt router

                      IIRC 1.3.3.4 is the last "official" clone friendly DreamUP version...

                              Thanx, I corrected my brain fart, but I still think 1.3.3.4 was the last clone friendly version of DreamUP...
