also for the record in E2 systems it's ETC/ not VAR/ETC. thats for E1 boxes.

and it should not have the .txt bit at then end, when you save the file save it as exactly CCcam.cfg then select all files as the type to save as.

I had same problem make sure your cccam software is shown in the softcam manager on your box first before you go any further, i have found that some versions of cccam dont install properly and therefor you cannot find cccam config file in dcc, just make sure you can see it in the box first, then run dcc and it will be there in etc.

If there is not a shortcut button by pressing blue button on remote, press menu/then setup/then softcam/ci and that will take you to the softcam manager, then were it says select softcam use your remote right button and it will show if anything is installed,if you find cccam press green, then do a full restart of your box.If there is nothing installed then you are going to have to download another version of cccam and install it,just make sure you uninstall the old version first and then install new version,it might takes a few goes before it shows up.

DCC is notorious for flaky operation. Just use a "real" FTP client like fireftp (firefox plugin), cuteftp, wsftp, etc... Hell, even Windoze Explorer works for the masochistic / mentaly challenged... I guess winscp should work if it also serves as FTP client, besides SecureCoPy...

i have to agree with cokesux i use a dedicated FTP client ( paid for version of flash fxp ) on all my receivers both E1 and E2 and it works flawlessly and always has.
