dreambox 800hd pvr hope someone can help head done in after 7 days

my friend had his techno mate dish and motor fitted about a week ago and connected dreambox800hd tried to tune channels on every setting possible no joy tried technomate box finds everything, took the dreambox to my house same dish same motor bang allchannells all sat instant, took the box back to my friends as i found it working no problem tried again nothing, dissh motor tested again every thing spot on took my dream box to my friends same again nothing brought it back home on only difference is he has a technomate 0.1 lnb i have technomate 0.2 can anyone help. thanks.plz help

just because a box works at one site doesnt mean it will work at another without ajustments. are you both using usals? or dis 1.2? the lnb noise figures are just guides and dont make so much difference. regards mdt

Have you entered long an lat or if fixed dish told it which sat its pointing too?

also try downloaded catseyes listing an use dcc to ftp to box

If the same setting works in your house, I assume that you are living close to each other.

Follow the wiring and match all polarities (even if wrongly colored wires) to tune your friends setup exactly as yours.
Insure that the azimoth, elevtion etc are all set identically.

Copy your east, west and center satellites locations from your site to your friends site.
