Will Alps Rev M tuner work in my genuine DM 800HD PVR?

Hello, I have genuine Dreambox 800 HD PVR. I opened to inspect and it says "800 REV J" on the receiver's motherboard. Also the tuner says 401A. My bootloader is the newest v84 via ozoon image. I want to fit the Alps rev M 801A tuner so I can tune certain HD channels with high symbol rates.

My question is will this tuner be a seamless upgrade? I don't want to blow my $$ and find out it's incompatible or whatever.

I have seen 2 sellers on ebay:
    dreambox dm800HD TUNER Rev M Alps dm800 hd DM500 HD | eBay
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

What makes you say that? How do I identify what mine is? I've flashed Ozoon many times, also upgraded bootloader more than a few times and never bricked it. Clones need special bootloaders and stuff right?
Care to answer the main question whether I can hot-plug this tuner or not?

update: i just double-checked the reatiler I bought the box is listed here http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/en/retailers .....infact that's how I found out where to buy the dreambox in the first place and even called tham at that phone number on dreambox' website.

lots of people on these sat forums buy clones m8
if i was you i would phone the link and ask them then you would have the best knowledge available to you
you can buy replacement tuners for genuine receivers although they cost more money off course.
but if you have a genuine box m8 i would not be fitting a clone tuner into it (clone tuners approx ?40 .genuine tuners approx ?80)

        btw i have a clone dm800

on the second link you posted eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
        it states
        ALPS DVB-S2 tuner for DM800HD latest?version: M, supported dvb-s2 symbol rate 1- 45M.
Note: it can't working on old motherboard of dm800hd, such as K and J

Yeah i know both the ebay links i posted contradict each other. One says it works on rev J mobo, second link says it doesn't work on rev J mobo. I'm confused. However the first link/seller is from UK and second is selling from china - does that mean anything : P who should i believe?

believe the person you bought it from m8
              give them a ring.
better to be safe than sorry
a genuine box costs a lot of money as you know.
mine was from china it had the rev L tuner in it
              i changed mine to a rev M cost ?40.

okay, will give them a call. the thing is the sales person(s) there only know the things that are printed in the brochures; they are forbidden to speak anything else because almost everyone asks them illegal questions like how to do various things like flashing or loading cams which is not in their scope of support. Now I don't expect them to know about replacement tuner, but i'll take the chance and ask anyway : P
