Hard Drive Problem

I fitted a hard drive to my dm800 hd a while ago but it always seemds to stutter in the playback.

Its fine when I don't record but when i'm watching anything thats been recorded it seems to stutter.

Any ideas why this is ? Have I not set it up properly ?

Had same issue for first few weeks when i got mu VU+ duo mate, i tried different Hd's but problem still appeared randomly.
Biggest issue was stuttering on playback and sometimes hard-drive not seen.
Changed the sata cable and have never had an issue since, i found it hard to believe especially when the original cable was new and came with the stb.
Might be worth a try!!

ive had this problem , ended up changing image and now works spot on , openplibup image.

I had the same problem on a blackhole image changed to dreambox uk 2.1 image and all is good
