Newnigma2 no FTA channels..

So my old man and bro have dm800s each, running newnigma2, the satfun release. Over the last few months they have both had the occasional problem where all channels go off, even FTA - and the old `no data on transponder' error comes up. I dont know what it could be, sometimes after a couple of reboots and faffing they come back and its fine for a few months, but then they go again.

Anyone else had this problem?

not heard of this problem.

if it does happen again....first thing i'd check is the tuner settings. if all ok there, then do a rescan

They haven't got Hard Drives installed have they? as when something is being recorded it ties up the tuner thus making no free tuner so cant watch channel.
Also have they go upto date bouquets?
