Cant install open pli image

Hello guys
i'm having problems installing the latest patched open pli image ssl84bon my dm800se clone. i get old image or not compatible or something.
I could install other images with ssl84b without any problems except open pli.
Ay advice or direction would be much appeciated.

Try reflashing the bootloader on its own then restart in flashmode and flash the image again

You might have a bad download. Get the image from a different source,and try again. If you already have ssl84 on the box, it should have no problems.

You probably need to flash 84b on first, then reboot pressing the power button to get in STOP mode and then flash the latest image? What date is the image, as only latest, I think 11/12 has support for 84b.

Just re-read that you can flash other 84b images so it could be a bad download as mentioned above.

I have the dm800se clone by the way and other images install okay just open pli which is the one I want/like

this is driving me crazy or can anyone provide me a back up copy of theirs so I can try

Personally, Id stick ssl84a on it and flash the back hole 1.6.6

its a patched vusolo img and its really nice.

Hang on and I may have added to the confusion here but I've just realised you've got an se so you are using the Sim2.1 dm800se image aren't you? Should be data 12/12 and not 11/12 as I said above, that's the image for the dm800 pro.

i think its a bad download, as i've tried this image and it's the most stable pli i have had on my se.

i will stick it in the downloads section and you can try it out. should work no probs.

thanks alom5 Im looking foward to u posting this image.can I remind you that i have the dm800se sim 210 not the ferrari sim.

Dont know if the pli images are made for the ferrari sim or Im I talking nonsense?

Hello again Alom5
just installed this image using sunray dream up however image is now showing on my screen.the image loads up on dreambox display (but not on my tv) and then my screen flashes off and on.
Anymore advice or direction would be much appreciated.
