hello sossybaby i reflashed with another image and the crash log went when i try to reflash it with software OptiFlasher v1.0.8 Enigma2 EDition and image OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800-20111211-sim201-ssl84b it says wrong image for the box or something like that

The OpenPLi image will complain if the box doesn't already have ssl84b on, so get the ss84b.nfi and flash that first, then reboot back into **STOP** mode and you should then be able to flash the image.

TBH, I also had problems with the latest OpenPLi image, first time I flashed it I couldn't get the tuner to pick up any channels, arsed around for hours, in the end a reflash fixed the problem but since then I've gone back to the Oct ssl82 image as I'm sure the current in places seems to pause/lag.

I have the same problem on my DM800 when I upgrade to SSL84 try this image should work with older image image works sim201e-75-pli-enigma2-jade3-dm800-20090924-6692.nfi

The tuner on that ebay page says it works on up to BL 82
try flashing BL82 on to it 1st

Stew, I have had a read through the thread, I don't see anywhere you say that your box is sim2. Just out of
curiosity. Do you know that it is sim2 and not ferrari?

mate, i think you should do a fresh flash using dreamup. it will load up the bootloader and all. that would take the box back to an original state. use the image in the downloads section Digital Kaos - Downloads - openPLI 2.1 for sim201 dm800 ssl82
i would try this and am sure it will work.

hello guys flashed with image sim201e-75-pli-enigma2-jade3-dm800-20090924-6692 and the box would not boot up on the boot screen it wouldnt go pasted the b so i took out the tuner and the box booted up fine so could it be a fault tuner
