    Signal strength drift on dm800

Hi my dm800 seems to lose its signal strength all the time. A channel will be fine one day then poor signal the next. I keep using positioner setup to fix it and store the new position but its only a temporary fix (a day or so is usual).

It happens on all sats but for example today my uk channels were sitting at about 30% but a quick reposition got them to above 90%

It always seems to be a westerly reposition to get the signal back. Is my dish misaligned?

    Thanks.

Change your power supply mate, or if you only using uk set to simple and it wont move

My box would goto say 13e ok then once it came back 28 would forget the position would just get a signal around the 40% mark then I had to keep doing what you do.

I replaced my psu and bang problem solved.

Its just a option to try.

Are you just using one sat? or multi sat set up ?

Turning it off should cause the problem tho

Multi sat. I mostly use 28.2 and the drifting happens even if i havent changed sats in the meantime.

Everything was fine when it was first set up, so thats why i thought maybe a misaligned dish. Although i've also messed about and changed settings in the meantime too...
